PRODUCT ORDERS

Orders may be placed via the selected partners (stockists or business exporters) or in our website using the forms available in each product page, sending an email to info@lusitan-furniture.com, or by phone contacting our sales manager. All our prices include VAT. For professionals and showrooms we offer special discounts and conditions. For more specific information please contact info@lusitan-furniture.com.

CONDITIONS OF PAYMENT

Payments must be made via bank transfer or in cash. Payments can only be made in euros. Pro-forma orders will require a 60% deposit with the order and the balance prior to shipping from Portugal. All pieces are property of Lusitan Furniture until payment in full is received. We reserve the right to defer the dispatch date until the balance of the order is received.

DELIVERY

Orders are shipped once the production is complete and you have made the full payment. The delivery time depends on the shipping options you choose and on your location (Within the European Union). Our prices don’t include shipping costs, but we can help you through the process and find the best available transport option for you. To do this, please make sure that the shipping address provided is correct, as we're unable to redirect orders once they are on their way to you. Although, if you choose to select the transportation company by yourself we don’t take any responsibility for anything related with this matter. In terms of insurance, if you choose Lusitan Furniture to take care of the transportation, we can guarantee insurance by the transport company. However, if you choose to schedule it yourself, we strongly advise you to get insurance. After an order has been dispatched, Lusitan Furniture provides all the details of the transportation company so, in case you need to change the shipping address or if you have any other questions regarding the transport, you can contact them.

PRODUCTION AND PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS

Lusitan Furniture production is based in Ovar, Portugal. Our pieces are handmade, produced by artisans and handpicked suppliers. All products displayed in www.lusitan-furniture.com are standard models. If you need a particular fabric customization please contact us. Lusitan Furniture takes all appropriate measures to ensure the images on the site represent the original products, certain variations of color and proportions are possible due to the customers computer's technical characteristics and color resolution. Consequently, We cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies in the graphic representation of the Lusitan Furniture products displayed on the site for the above technical reasons. Our production time is between 8 to 12 weeks, but for some pieces the production time can be less. For custom pieces the lead time is between 12 to 14 weeks. STORAGE FEES

Upon conclusion, the client will be notified by email that the order is ready to be shipped. Payment in full must be made within twenty five (25) business days from the date that the client is notified. If outstanding invoice balance is not paid in full, and shipping arrangements have not been made, Lusitan Furniture may invoice the client with a 5% stocking fee based on total invoice amount. The 5% charge will be compounding each month, until outstanding invoice is paid in full, and shipping arrangements have been made.

RETURNS

No returns will be accepted without written consent from Lusitan Furniture. Unauthorized returns will be refused at the customer’s expense. It is within our sole discretion as to whether to accept returns of merchandise. For authorized return we will provide all the information needed. Returned items must be in their original condition and packaging, and you shall prepay and be liable for all charges in connection with the shipping of returned goods, including insurance. Custom items are not returnable under any circumstances.

AFTER SALES

We guarantee that all our pieces are shipped from our factory in perfect conditions and perfectly packed. Taking this in consideration, Lusitan Furniture is not responsible for loss or damage in transit. If a visible or concealed damage occurs in transit, please notify immediately the delivering carrier with a file notification of claim intention. Any damage should also be communicated to Lusitan Furniture during the first 24 hours after receiving the order; photographic evidence of the damages should be sent by email to info@lusitan-furniture.com. Standard 3 year warranty to all products. In case of product malfunction, Lusitan Furniture reserves the right to determine whether a replacement or repair is most appropriate. If the product is correctly used and for some reason it gets damage, we will take responsibility and repair it.
